Biography

Dr. Vishal Dutt Gour is the Consultant Urologist and Male Fertility Specialist at SCI International Hospital. After graduating as a doctor from Seth GS Medical College and KEM Hospital in Mumbai, Dr. Gour gained his General Surgery and Urology Specialist qualifications from B J Medical College and Civil Hospital, Ahmedabad. He was awarded the Shri Dhirajlal Desai Medal for first in M.Ch (Urology). Dr. Gour consults on male fertility problems and performs surgical sperm collection (TESA/PESA) when necessary. He also coordinates with the admin and accounting staff at SCI Hospital.

Dr Vishal private practice for past 15 years has specialized in Urethra reconstruction,penile surgeries, cosmetic Urological procedures, erectile problems and sexual problems for both men and women.
He has performed more than 400 endourological procedures comprising of Trans Urethral Resection, Percutaneous Nephrolithotomy, Ureteroscopy, Urethral Valve Fulguration etc.
He has assisted and operated several open procedures like urethroplasty, hypospadias repair, ureteric reimplantation, pyeloplasty, nephrectomy, cystectomy etc.
He has performed more than 5000 ultrasound scans of the genitourinary tract independently and has inserted more than 200 percutaneous nephrostomies under ultrasound guidance.
He has conducted more than 200 Urodynamic Studies and has carried out several Extracorporeal Lithotripsies.
