Dr Amit Jha is one of the very important part of the Livcure Team. Dr Amit Jha is the chief anesthesiologist and critical care specialist in Liver Transplant team. Dr Jha is one of the very best that you will get in the field of anaesthesia and critical care. He is responsible for all pre and post surgery management of the patient. Post surgery patient needs a very good critical care specialist to manage the post surgery issues and even during the surgery Dr Amit Jha manages the anaesthesia part.

EXPERIENCE IN ANAESTHESIA

• Experience of management of liver transplant and donor hepatectomy since Aug 2012.
• Anaesthetic management in various gastrointestinal & hepatobiliary surgical procedures.
• Responsible for ICU management of post liver transplant recipients and patients with critical illness like liver trauma, acute liver failure, G.I.bleeding.
• Management of One Lung Ventilation, Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery, Neurosurgical cases

EXPERIENCE IN CRITICAL CARE

• Manage pre and past liver transplant and hepato-gastrointestinal patients in the ICU.
• Trained in USG-guided vascular cannulation, hemodynamic monitoring, coagulation monitoring.
• Management of critically ill patients on Mechanical ventilation and Non Invasive Mechanical Ventilation.
• Procedural Skills: Central Venous Pressure and Arterial Lines, Fibreoptic Intubation, Percutaneous Tracheostomy.
