Biography

• Dr. Alka Kriplani is a gynecologist, gyne-lap surgeon and fertility expert with 40+ years of experience.
• She was honored with Padma Shri, the fourth highest Indian civilian award, by the Government of India in 2015 and Dr. B. C. Roy Award in 2007.
• Apart from this, she has won the Rashtriya Gaurav Award (2007), Dr. Nimish Shelat Research Prize in Reproductive Endocrinology (2010) and DGF Women of the Year Award (2010).
• She has delivered 770 guest lecturers all over India and abroad on various clinical subjects.
• Dr. Kriplani has many publications under her name- 380+ scientific publications and 403 abstract publications in national and international journals. Additionally, she has written 4 books as well.
• She is a President of Gynecological Endocrine Society of India (GESI), Delhi Gynaecological Endoscopic Society (DGES), Association of Obstetricians & Gynecologists of Delhi (AOGD), former president of Federation of Obstetricians and Gynecological Societies of India (FOGSI), editor at Asian Journal of Obstetrics & Gynecology Practice and National Corresponding Editor: Journal of Obstetrics & Gynecology of India.
